How do you match my color with the hair extensions?

  • We highly suggest in salon free consultation to precisely match your natural color with the hair extensions color ring.

Will the hair extensions be noticeable?

  • The hair extensions are 100% human hair and available in over 40 different colors. With expert application the micro link hair extensions will blend perfectly and feel like your own hair – ready to curl, blow dry, flat iron & style!

Will the micro links show through if I put my hair into ponytail or an updo?

  • The reason why the hair extensions are called “micro” link it’s the method the extensions are applied. The tiny tubes (micro cylinders) are used to attach the small-sectioned hair strand and not large wefts, eliminating the visible bump that other extensions create. Whether you are aiming for a classy, traditional or modern look, the micro link technique allows you the freedom to style the hair as if it were your own.

How long will the hair extensions last?

  • With proper maintenance, and following the care instructions, your extensions will last up to three months. The hair can be re-used two times.

Can I color the hair extensions?

  • Yes, you can definitely color your hair with the extensions put in, we only recommend you to go to the stylist you install the extensions in, if visiting a different salon, please contact us to get proper procedures for coloring your extensions.

How can I get highlights/lowlights with micro links hair extensions?

  • If you have virgin hair color or you don’t feel like chemically changing your hair color, adding only fifty strands of the links hair extensions can change your whole look without damaging your hair.

How long does the application take?

  • It takes anywhere from a half hour for a highlight/lowlight option to 3-4 hours of a full set.

How are they removed?

  • When your set is ready to come out, you can come in for a deep conditioning treatment, gentle fast removal with a special micro link tool, and a shampoo / scalp massage and blowout.

Will I lose any strands?

  • Some extension loss is normal and is to be expected. Average client hair loss is approximately 50-150 strands per day. You can expect to see a small quantity of naturally released hair trapped in the attachments after some time. This is normal and should not be interpreted as hair being pulled out of the scalp by the extensions themselves. Daily brushing close to the scalp and finger separation of the applied strands will avoid matting of this are.

Do the hair extensions get dry?

  • If your hair and/or extensions are dry apply some leave-in conditioners or hair oil so that the hair is soft and moist. A good leave-in treatment can keep the hair from drying. But remember not to put too much otherwise there will be a build up and make the hair feel too heavy. If the hair feels too dry or heavy with too much hair care product you should wash the hair completely.
  • REMINDER: DO NOT PUT CONDITIONER ON ATTACHMENTS!

Can I try them out first?

  • Absolutely, in fact we suggest it! Come in for a free consultation to go over the hair extensions application and we can put one or two strands in for a small fee $10-$20, so you can see exactly what it’s all about! A minimal fee is charged, and we have a lot of hair on hand including punky colors – so hopefully we have something that can work out for you!

What do I do to prepare my hair for the appointment?

  • You can arrive with your hair shampooed with clarifying shampoo 3-4 times, with NO CONDITIONER or any product. The extensions are applied straight so if you have wavy hair, you can straighten it or we can straighten it for you.
